Quick answer
Honey Pot's range moves from balanced and bright to herbal, rich and dark. Multi Flora is the everyday centre; Citrus is the lightest bright option; Eucalyptus is richer; Buchu is the most botanical; and Wolvedoring brings dark rounded depth.
Almond Blossom is the new arrival in our seven-varietal collection, available in 500g for R130 and 125ml for R60. It is excluded from the two-jar promotion. Apple Blossom remains temporarily out of stock.
Explore Western Cape raw honey →Multi Flora: the balanced starting point
Multi Flora reflects a changing mix of Western Cape blossoms rather than one named source. Its balanced profile makes it the easiest reference point when comparing the range.
Use it for breakfast, tea, baking and dressings, or choose it when several people in the household will share one jar.
Citrus and Apple Blossom: the lighter side
Citrus is light, bright and gently fragrant. It suits yoghurt, breakfast and tea when you want sweetness without a very dark finish.
Apple Blossom is gentle and floral. It is temporarily out of stock, so do not build a time-sensitive order or gift around it until availability changes.
Eucalyptus: rich and aromatic
Eucalyptus has a deeper, more warming direction than Citrus or Multi Flora. It works well when the honey should remain noticeable beside tea, toast or a marinade.
Choose it for someone who already enjoys fuller flavours but does not necessarily want the herbal character of Buchu.
Buchu and Wolvedoring: distinctively Cape depth
Buchu is herbal, earthy and the most unusual option in the range. It makes sense when local botanical identity is part of the experience.
Wolvedoring is dark, rounded and suited to toast, cheese boards and savoury uses. Together, Buchu and Wolvedoring represent two different kinds of intensity: botanical versus deep and rounded.
Build a useful tasting order
For a two-jar comparison, pair Citrus with Wolvedoring or Buchu. For a broader tasting set, begin with Multi Flora and move through Citrus, Eucalyptus, Buchu and Wolvedoring.
Honey colour and texture can vary by season and floral source. Taste with that natural variation in mind and focus on aroma, flavour and intended use.
Simple flavour journey: Multi Flora → Citrus → Eucalyptus → Buchu → Wolvedoring.
Responsible honey note
Honey is a food, not a medical treatment. Flavour, colour, texture and crystallisation can vary naturally by floral source, season and storage. Honey should never be given to a child younger than 12 months.
